Reported atmospheric impact events from CNEOS
Fireballs are exceptionally bright meteors produced when a meteoroid enters Earth's atmosphere at high speed, rapidly heats up, and often fragments.
This dataset (NASA JPL CNEOS) is a catalog of reported events, not a real-time feed. Each entry includes an event time and estimated energy; some also include a trajectory estimate like peak altitude, velocity, and an approximate location. Missing fields are common, so filters can narrow to events with specific measurements.
